Verna Jean Williams

Verna Jean Williams, age 86, formerly of Wauseon, Ohio, passed away Friday afternoon, July 19, 2024 at Swanton Valley Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center in Swanton, Ohio. She was born April 25, 1938 in Toledo, Ohio to James and Mary (Jozsa) Webb. On December 10, 1956 she married the love of her life, Bill Williams.

Verna loved listening to classic country music all day long. She enjoyed bird watching, camping, playing cards and puzzles.

She is survived by her daughter, Susan (Randy) Randolph; grandchildren, Heaven Randolph and Hailey Randolph.

Besides her parents, Verna was preceded in death by her husband, Bill Williams; brothers, John Webb and James Webb.

Visitation will be held Friday, July 26th from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. at the Grisier-Weigel Funeral Home in Delta, Ohio, where funeral services will begin at 6:00 p.m., with Pastor David Underwood officiating.
